... apparently does wonders for the soul.

So today, I set out to just act the part of a carefree girl. As I mentioned elsewhere, I was going to feel as young as I look for a day. Well, I put on a summer dress (the kind that's just a touch too light and short to wear for work), and on my way to the ice cream shop, I picked up a silly fashion magazine, without one words of substance.

I got real ice cream, no frozen yogurt or reduced fat concoction, chocolate and vanilla twist. I ate it slowly and enjoyed every lick. After that, I took my magazine and drove down to the lakefront to read.

After a bit of sitting in the sun, and a nice long walk, I drove home, and made it just as one of the typical Florida storms started. Instead of holing up in my room, I turned on the radio in the kitchen and headed to the backyard for a cross between dancing and puddle jumping.

Now I'm fairly sure, my neighbors think I'm nuts, and that I'll probably catch a cold, but boy do I feel refreshed. I'm back to being one cheery cherry :D

What a terrific day! And so beautifully told. I love all those things, too.

I'll bet you had some neighbors ogling you and your rain dance though.

;)

Good on you cheery cherry.... I love that phrase....

Speaking of playing in the rain, click on the link for Rain, Rain in my sig. I don't think you'll be disappointed.... :D

Cerise - you are a beautiful soul! If I had not been working today, I would have joined you. Playing in a rainstorm has got to be up there on the list of the best things in life. :rose:

ETA: ok, we are all different. It's on my list of the best things in life!

I love playing in the rain, my mom and I used to do it in our appartment complex that was surrounded by a trailor park and got some odd looks, hehe. Glad you had a good day.

 Thanks everyone.
It's funny how the simplest things can make someone feel better.

I bet you looked sooooo erotic and tasty with your wet clothes clinging tightly to your beautiful, voluptuous, jiggling figure. I love that watching sort of thing.

I don't know what you had on, but if it was a summer dress and nothing else...then I'm about to come down your way the next monsoon starts brewing up! ;)

I suppose asking for a recreation this weekend would be pushing it?

Sounds like a nice day, I'm glad you're feeling better. :rose:

Sounds wonderful. Yesterday was a big storm here too (after a massive heatwave) and my friend and I went out in the rain and watched the lightening. It was like Nature's fireworks. Sometimes you just gotta get wet and have a good time.
