Hi all, brand new here and i am wondering what is the accepted attitude to playing different roles when chatting with other users. Im a guy (obviously) but i fancy the idea of playing a woman in chat sometimes, is that alright here?

Pants on fire! You're a woman pretending to be a man but since this is a totally fucked up area of the boards that's fine too. What do you hope to get out of role-playing this way? It's perfectly ok to admit to sexual kink but occasionally there's something deeper. I'm not wishing to lead you: you have to be honest with yourself first or else people won't trust your integrity.

i think i am being misunderstood here. I know men pretend to be women in order to get off on here and i accept that, hell i dont even care but i want to be honest with whoever I might chat with. I have a fantasy of roleplaying a woman but i dont want to lie and use a fake persona in order to full fill that desire. i want my chat partner to be aware and happy with that situation

So, if I'm understanding you, you want anyone with whom you chat to understand that you're a dude, and an ensuing roleplay would entail you playing the part of a woman with no confusion as to the fact that it's just a part you're playing out.
You may be surprised just how many guys would be okay with/get off on that. Here's hoping you have fun!
