So, if I understand correctly, the presenters choose the new proud playgrounders to initiate?

Not quite, the person being initiated gets to choose who initiates them. But the person has to of agreed to be a presenter.

Unless requested, they are done publicly least that is how it used to go. Very seldom did people request a private initiation.

I think I linked to the original thread on the first page... Downside is, that thread was absolutely massive. Hard to wade through to find samples. The presentations didn't happen right at the start, if I recall. It was just a random thing that became tradition

We may have to perform a mass ceremony at this rate. There are criteria though. That's what the forms are for. Of course, there's the expert panel evaluation as well but - that's pretty much a snap.
