We got snow here as well LING - and although it has stopped, it appears to be sticking.

I fear winter may be here at last, darnit!

No and Yes. We got ten inches of snow yesterday afternoon/evening. They closed school here today, but I think they'll go tomorrow as long as we don't get any more snow.
 
We got some more snow overnight, just a dusting - but it is more frequent now.

On an unrelated now, my 330th story just posted, "Fiery, Fabulous Faye".

Congrats on the story. I had several over the past 2 days post - four in all. The latest is a Humor/Satire piece. I think it's very telling to what society deems the perfect woman. :rolleyes: :D
 
Right back at you RED - now that I am back at the computer and feeling a bit more optimistic, I assume my tally here will rise as well. I think I averaged well over 1 a week (overall) this past year and it shouldn't be hard to equal next year, as my monthly professionally commitments have downsized a smidge.

Good luck with that - I still manage to miss things on occasion (and really get annoyed when the so-called "editors" at my company miss them - they're paid, for f**k's sakes!)

To a point RED - but my contact has told me flat-out that the editors are lazy and spend more time on the company's other mags.

Well then they need to find new editors. That's an internal issue and they should deal with it. I can't stand lazy people who get paid to be lazy even though they aren't supposed to be.
 
I don't know if you ever took me up on my offer and tried dealing with them RED - but they are cheeeaaappp. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find "editors" is editor ... although that doesn't matter still, either do your job or let someone else have it.

Hey Brett, sorry I missed this post.

I spoke with them for a short while, but then decided to back off on writing. I'm going to send you some links to some publishers that I've gathered via other writers here on Lit. Perhaps there will be someone in the mix, you want to look into.
 
I can announce now that the 2012 contract is signed and on its way back to Montreal. A huge relief, I will say.

Now onward ...
