Playgrounders And Proud Of It

I've only been on the playground a month or two, do I qualify as a "Playgrounder?"

...It's fun being the "new guy!"
 
Welcome back STEGRAL and hi again BELLE. We had emergency situations with the lack of rain in Ontario.

If someone posts once in a while it seems to stimulate the threads. Glad I could be this person this time. I've got a sh*tload of work on LIT and everyone knows I'm grateful for that.

Anyone who posts in the Playground is a Playgrounder, in the old days, after a bit, you got a number.

We can't really do the badge presentations anymore SUNBUNNY because the presenters aren't around any more. You're one of the few PG peeps I've seen who is older (in number) than I am.

I got you beat by a couple months. I just started a couple days ago. Such a good decision.
 
I would agree most of the old vanguard have left, but if posts start coming back again, I am sure there are those who check LIT to see what's new, such as STEGRAL and BELLE did. I'm out here nearly every day.

New and old, all are welcome.

I've been at Lit a little over a year, and have posted almost exclusively on the playground. So, I guess that makes me a proud playgrounder.

I see some people have numbers, as in Playgrounder # xyz. How does one get a number?

It was something that was done a long time ago.
A time when the "playground" was a main thread in Lit.
The person that opened up the thread used to hold "ceremonies" for those that had proven they weren't trolls or other asshatts... the thread died down & it just isn't done much anymore

Yes, you can still say you're proud to be a PG Peep, as I call them.

We don't do the ceremonies anymore, but if someone ever wanted, that could be revived. The only impediment would be finding the original list of numbers so they aren't duplicated.
