Yes, I am still alive. Due to an ISP glitch (we think) couldn't get on to LIT for a few weeks, then writing deadlines loomed. Both problems solved now, yay!

I am also popping in to say hi. I've been on a creative jag lately, so will have new material on LIT this week and hopefully, for a while after as I try to edge up towards 300. If you like my stuff, keep looking.

Hmm; can't remember when I last logged into Lit.; can't even say that I feel that I've missed anything of interest or value, or even any sense of loss. IMHO, it's become quite a fragmented community

I think it's time-expired; any number of threads show declining posts.

Does anybody care? Probably not; and I don't think I do

I care and will continue to care. LIT means a lot to me and I still keep in touch with some of my LIT friends. I owe LIT my career and it was a place to come and commune when the world was sometimes beating me down.

the operative words are "those who are still around"; not very many of them, I'm afraid. Many of my Lit friends have gone off to follow other pursuits, and they just don't come here any more, something that's reflected in the overall frequency of posts to thread such as this
 
It does trouble me at times that people aren't posting, but I post on a few other threads and every few days, there's a flurry of activity. One never knows ...
