As for the safe and sound - I got real bad sunburn on day 2 and it was right on the back of the legs and when I walked it hurt like a bitch

Ouch. . how are you now? Need lotion? Maybe smooth cool hands to rub it in, gently of course.

I am at home in the UK and thanks very kindly for the offer, but I got a purty Texan who will have the honours of doing that

I found an Aloe plant in the middle of a Golf course while I was there and snapped some of it off - sticky as hell but it beat the crap out of the aftersun creams on the market - it eased the burn in about 4 hours - I then bought an Aloe aftersun and I will now swear by it great stuff!!

Aloe is the best stuff, I too agree aloe in lotions aren't the greatest. There is a burn cream we use that was given to my husband when he burned his hand in a pile of flaming coal dust ( he works in the iron/steel industry ) anywho.... It works wonders. We all use it now for small burns and sunburns. . .

SSD =- 1% Silver Sulfadiazine Cream

lol... Well this isn't for blocking the sun, but it takes the burn away. I also have a cream for poison ivy if you are really prone to that.

I have to have an ovary and fallopian tube removed. I'll know the date today (i hope) *sigh*, but sadly those things are almost routine these days, but then again that is forturnate isn't it? Because then there is less chance of screw ups? There are always risks though, but I'm trying very very very very hard not to think of them.

They are going to try a laproscopic surgery, but if they don't believe they can because of scar tissue from C-sections than they'll open me up, using the scar line from the incesion from the C-sections. They won't know if they have to open me up until they get inside with the cameras. They'd go through the belly button and have two incisions to go along with it. One above the bikini line and the other too the side.
