Yes, I have no life, so I am often around the threads. The writing is going very well, just keep plugging away, though the last 2 days I haven't much. I usually get a bunch written in a week and then take a few days off before I am flooded with ideas. I have one or two bordering on the edge of my mind that are waiting for my attention. :D
i just dabble for fun. got a couple in the Group MVP publication. it was great to get a cheque through the mail!

i see you're doing the survivor contest. i was in last year... came 9th i think. what a long haul it was.

It's going fine. Drove in yesterday and being lazy today. lol How about yours?

Well, mine hasn't been terribly exciting, but I would call it relaxing.... Which is good....

I wanted to try it. It is a long haul, but I only write when I feel a story. I'm not trying quanity to lower my quality. Win or lose it is fun. I have mini goals. The first was to complete each category. I did that. :) I was soooo happy. :) The second was to get 10 letters/transcripts. I did that before goal one was met. lol... The goal I have now is closing the 4 poetry categories. I have 2 of the 4 closed and as soon as my last audio poem is approved I'll have 3 of the 4 closed. I like the mini-goals, each time I accomplish one, at my pace I feel great. :D

i'll have to check the scoreboard. sounds like you'll be totting up the points.

there was a huge gap in scores last year tho. the winner went ahead by a ridiculous margin.

if you've got the time to bang out story after story, and if you add poems too, then it's pretty easy to bang up a score.

I know Perth. Was there in Jan. Not far from Ascot in a hostel just off the highway. Dad lives near the airport.

If you get to Guildford, there's a really cute lady who runs an antique place on the front there. Phew...

But that does sound exciting! At least a little bit ;)

Far less lazy than myself.

lol Trust me....the only reason I'm even unpacking is because my mom's birthday gift is somwhere in my luggage and I need to wrap it. lol

I did hear about your adventures over this way... Didn't make it out at that time though.... (I was still nervous about meeting people...) I do know Ascot, hope you enjoyed yourself here :)

Now you tell me! This is the kind of thing people should be telling me sooner.... Must get to Guildford sometime.... Look for an antique place ;)
