No... you have not trodden on it at all....

You have posted here before, not persay in this thread... but in this forum... so that is still more then others have... and to those that is why I wrote what I did.. and only for that reason..

I wasn't thinking of you when I wrote the words I penned. :)

Sweet!!! :nana: :nana:

Thanks for that. Was a little concerned that I had inadvertantly offended.

Hope you are having a good Monday. OBTW, how is your shoulder doing this morning?

Hello usmc :) I didn't get a chance to play catch up due to work the last few days, and didn't see your posts. Welcome! :nana:

I don't think you've trodden on anything. I think the feeling that was being conveyed is that of frustration of people coming here, asking for a number and perhaps staying long enough to get a badge, then disappearing into oblivion, never to be seen here again. I think as long as you make an effort to pop in and say hello every once in a while, attempt to get to know some of us, join in some of the conversations and basically try and be a part of our little family, you'll be fine. I think this is true of any one joining here. This is a great group of people, I've only been here a few weeks myself. We all know everybody has a real life and sometimes that gets in the way of keeping up and posting here from time to time.

Again welcome! Kick off your shoes... in fact feel free to get nekkid  .... and most of all have fun!:nana:

Thanks Shan, that is precisely what I was hoping to do..... :D :D :nana:

Your welcome to visit as often as you are able, we do get a lot of people that only make it once in a while and others that are here nearly everyday, there is no distinction between the two, all are welcome as long as they play nicely. :)

Thanks Brother.

I will attempt to visit and interact as frequently as possible as I do with the other threads that I am subscribed. This one however promises to be of a different flavor and I like it.

My limiting factor from time to time is my travel schedule with work. I will go for several weeks on end and not be able to LIT on my work computer that I travel with... Big brother and all... hehehe

I plan on hanging out with you fine folks for sure.

Mark,

The bike is actually my second and is an '03 FLSTF. I once owned an '83 Low rider and really liked the bike but $$$ back then precluded keeping it. This one is all mine and isn't going anywhere without my butt in the seat for what is at least the foreseeable future. hehehe I really like the Heavy front ends of the Fatboys, Road Kings, Heritage Softails etc.

My Fatboy is my baby to be sure.

Nice bike that, I quite like the look of the low-riders, the ones turned out by the American Chopper boys are awesome, way way out of my price range though, as is a standard sportster to be honest right now.

I used to work with an american dude who brought his bike over with him, kept it in a purose built brick building in his garden that had steel rods through the bricks and a solid door on it to prevent anyone getting at it. When he brought it in though customs took it to bits and loads went missing, he ended up having to hold the battery in with his leg when riding it......

Man, that is a shame. I nearly got to do a tour for three years in the UK (London to be exact) and I was going to bring mine. That has since fallen through, maybe a stroke of good luck as it were.

Lots of great deals out there, patience really paid off for me in the end though.. Things got better andwhen the time was right, I siezed the moment.

Well, I learned in kindergarten that I must share and share alike. My roommate needs the computer so I'm going to go do laundry and attempt to do some writing. Will talk with y'all later! Have a good day! :D
