She has a history of heart trouble (vavle problems). Please, Please, PLEASE, say a prayer for her. I am praying to God she will be OK.

MM, I hope you reconsider, I for one will miss your excellent service in the presentations, not to mention on a more personal note our chats about football (soccer to the rest of you non brits).

in many ways I know where you are coming from. There have been a couple of occassions for me when Lit has become a source of pain rather than pleasure and I have taken a sabbatical. The last time I did it I said I would not come back but I did eventually and for the most part I am glad I did. I hope your leaving may only be a temporary one and that times will change and you will be back, but if it does prove to be a final farewell then I wish you luck and happiness for the future.

This goes of course for TD too and she is in my thoughts tonight. My mum died of an hereditory heart condition and I have to have regular check ups to ensure any problem that may arise in me is caught early. When you next speak to her or her family please send her my best wishes for a speedy recovery, lets hope it is something of nothing!!!
