Thinking of you

TEAZE - you need to call your mother's doctor, let the doctor know exactly what is going on. If need be, DRAG your mother to the doctor. If she's that sick, enough is enough. I would let as many people know as I could, she may be embarrassed enough to go. She also may thank you for it later on.

I've got what is known as "Adult Onset Asthma" - didn't get it until I was in my early 40's. Yes, it does suck.

Unlike my ex-GFs.

Hiya BABYDOLL and good evening.

Most times I am fine - but when it hits, it is like a Freight train.

Oddly enough, when I got older [ late 20's ] my Hay Fever went away.

She doesn't have a doctor and no insurance thats why i can't get her to go...although i did tell her if she wasn't much better by next week i was making her go...i just get annoyed at grown people who don't take care of themselves i have no patience for it, especially coming from my elder...

I was born with broncual tube asthma, was a very sickly child with it as a kid. in and out of hospitals all the time, even had to have shots given daily until i was 10 years old...

Health care and such

Hi again TEAZE. One of the few benefits of being Canadian [ other than good beer, eh? ] is our Health Care is fairly good [ although in need of a MAJOR overhaul ]

Oddly enough [ don't all attack me here now ] I find WOMEN are the ones who seem to feel the need to "not bother" if they are sick. Men are more likely to go. Men are also bigger babies when they are sick.

I had a variety of ailments as a child, but not so many as an Adult. I do have a few things here and there, so see doctors on a frequent basis, but figure on sticking around the Earth for a long while yet.

Hon, if she is sick on both ends by tomorrow, Thursday at the latest - TAKE her. 3 days is dangerous, she could become dehydrated.

The worst I remember is when my mother got a similar illness to Colitis, back around 10 years ago. She was in the hospital from March until April, out for a bit, and then back again, out for a bit, and back again. She was off work from March 21st until July [ I remember the date because the 22nd is my sister's birthday and my dad was is Germany at the time visiting my sister ] Luckily, my mother had over a YEAR in sick time built up, so she was getting paid.

Man, cheery bunch, aren't we?

Thanks Brett i'll do my best to get her to see someone even if i have to pay for it....

That's so funny cause i feel it's the other way round, can never get a man to go see a doc and yes they are the biggest babies when they get sick...but this is way i see it...we are the ones who raised them to be babies when their sick...cause as mothers we babied them then complain as adults cause they act like such babies when ill..lmao

Clinics?

TEAZE hon are there no clinics, no places for people to go who cannot afford full Medical Care?

Yeah - if she is that sick, play it safe.

I don't mind being babied when I am sick, but I hate being touched, oddly enough.

OH.. don't even get me started, LOL... men are THE biggest babies when sick. My gawd, we can be sick and still have to make AND serve breakfast, do the laundry, take care of the kids, go to work, etc etc etc
You let a man catch a cold and you'd think he was dying.. on the couch, or bed, wrapped up, whining, moaning, babyyyyyyyyyyyyy... can I have a drink please? can I have a slice of toast please? babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.. my temperature is 100 degrees! gawd

sorry.. I know I went off on a rant there, LOL...

On this thread

TEAZE I don't like being touched, hugged or even kissed when I am sick. I don't just mean sexually, I mean at ALL.

Yes, men are babies when sick, but so many women play the "Martyr" card. For fuck's sake, get to the damned doctor, take a pill, but Jesus, you are sick woman!

Ok i say enough of that getting depressing....

So about hour ago i snuck out back and discarded my clothes and jumped in the pool, swam around a bit and cooled off...

The kids busted me running back into house with towel wrapped around and my ass hanging out w/ clothing in my hand...lol

they started laughing and teasing me

My thoughts

Well hon, if you'd been swimming naked, I don't think making fun of you would have been on my mind.

Making fun with you, however ....
