"Mom, are we going anywhere today?"

"Mom, are we doing anything today?"

"Mom, I can't sleep." <<< this is my favorite, because I answer... "I was."

"Mom, can I have a snack?"

"Mom, can I play playstation?"

"Mom, can I watch TV in the living room, if I keep the sound down, so I don't wake you up?" <<< another favorite.

"Mom, will you open this?" (Hands me a can of pop... ummm NO, not for breakfast!! )

But....


"Mom, I love you." Makes up for them all, now .... if I could get them to say it more often. :rolleyes:

*laughs* that's one way of getting up early! Me, I've got nobody to wake me up so I can sleep in as long as I want to be ~ unless it's one of my work days and then I have to groan and say "Not again, have to work today!" :D

I am feeling much better today compared to yesterday thanks, a goodnights sleep has done me a lot of good.
Sorry about the wedding, cant you develop a splitting headache and cry off?

I've been a stay at home mom for just over 12 years. I like it, but it can be trying and some mornings I envy the folks that are single and can come and go as they please, even if it is to work, where other adults exist.

I'm glad you're doing better.

I would cry off if one, he wasn't the one of 2 favorite cousins and 2. I hadn't been "ill" with the last (most disliked) cousin got married.

Well, I am a freelance tutor, so I teach adults on a weekly basis so I won't actually say that I do have work collagues with whom I see regulary, just my boss as I am..... I mean, WAS, teaching with him. Thank goodness that in September when I get back from my holiday, I am not going to work with my boss ever again!! I am so thankful for that!! :D And there will be new people in September, so new classes, new start, new everything, really looking forward to it. This year has been a bad year for me at work!! Don't ask and I won't rant and rant on!! :D
