I've read thousands of Literotica stories . I acknowledge that " out there " scenarios are within the legitimate range of emotional stimulation . Many stories break the mood with obviously contrived and implausible situations . I've avoided posting anything I'vewritten because the chasm between writing an energetic and arousing piece and didappointing my own expectations is just too wide to straddle . Within the limitations of personal observation and experience , the archive of subject material is limited . This isn't my 12 years of writing social commentary . I hope that you have all taught me things that will come out in a good story .

Yes, verisimilitude is uncommon in porn, or fantasy in general, for that matter. IMO, that's part of the point - it's an escape from reality for many, a way of stretching the mind, of exploring the unlikely or even impossible.

Doesn't mean it doesn't happen, and for some writers it's their goal. To each their own. I'm more interested in making a fun tale, one that brings the reader along on a fun romp.

As for writing a good tale, by whatever definition of 'good' you prefer? Go for it! I'd love to see even more authors writing. Sure, very few Kings or Asimovs or Heinleins (pick your own favorites if those don't work for you) out there - makes it all the more special when you do find one.

"That was so sexy and I love the characters" and "What trash, uninstall your MS Word and never write again" at the same time.

Write well and hopefully at least one person love what you did. But don't write for us; write for you.

A good story is subjective and I wrote more than one story that gets comments like:

"That was so sexy and I love the characters" and "What trash, uninstall your MS Word and never write again" at the same time.

Write well and hopefully at least one person love what you did. But don't write for us; write for you.

Always picture a split in bowling when that happens.

Well, I mean look how implausible the real world is right now (not that any of the stuff currently going on would lend itself to an erotic story).

Also, it's interesting how close real world stuff can get to porn and here's an example:

Oops , sorry ! I had only given some background for where my story ideas come from . I would feel better if people understood where my thoughts came from . There are bits and pieces that pop out of the past . Little things , like the next door neighbor catching me peeking up her dress or down her cleavage . Or maybe , like an aunt delighting in my embarrassment to her sexual double entendr`e comment , in front of people . How about coming home for a visit and running into someone who wouldn't be caught dead with you , back in the day ?

Thank you for the good advice ! First of all , i didn't know that the Bold text was a problem . I only used it because it made reading and editing on my phone easier . I can live without it . As for reacting to feedback , i grew a thick skin in the past decade , writing social commentary . I got everything from ridicule to death threats , so I'm good to go .i suppose it's a good thing that public and private worlds don't intersect . Everybody would know what perverts we all are . .At least it gives me something to write about .
