How to write a plausible story with characters at the age of consent, yet still evoke the desparate, naive lust of adolescence?

I reckon it can be done, with two legally adult, consentual parties... the seduced is a youthful adolsecent nerd-type, naive to the ways of women and socially inept.... the seducer a slightly older neighbourhood girl, whose Mom is friends with the boy's Mom?

well, it never really holds much interest for me as a story anywayz *ducks away from difficult issue

maybe a concept for a story not so suited to Lit's policy on age... it's too hard to explain things away and still have the ring of truth running thru events

The 18-and-over thing is the generally accepted catch-all age to make sure you are safe, and a choice made by the people who run LJ to ensure that nothing inappropriate is posted. Here in Indiana the age of consent is 16 but it varies from state to state, as do laws regarding pictures of video.

How fucked up is this - I read a news story recently about a guy and his girl, him 20 and her 17, in a state where she was of legal age to have sex. They videotaped themselves in the act, and the VIDEO was considered child pornography because she was under 18. It's OK for her to screw, but not to take a picture of it? Ain't law grand?

I have to admit that i always write stories with the participants being over 18, that way all weird law's should be covered.

But not all i believe that in some countries/states the legal age is 20/21

I have seen a couple of good stories where the girl is babysitting for a single guy with a kid, or a guy who returns early to pick something up or has had an argument, or is feigning illness, or whatever. Doin' it with the babysitter is a standard male fantasy. It doesn't have to be 100% PC. Besides, most of the good stories here are fantasies, and not 100% real, which can be boring.
