Plagiarists truly suck. Anyone belong to Adult Friend Finder?

Well, great.

I joined this site three hours ago just so I could post a bitchy reply on SirDashing's (I'm sorry - that title still makes me snicker) plagiarized post of my story, and I've already received two emails from people who wanna hook up!

I didn't put any personal information on there at all. None!

Arrrgh!

Clearly you're just naturally popular. That or people who track down plagiarists are a real turn on for some people.

I was thinking it must be a haven for horny pervs.

But wait! That's here!

AdultFriendFinder is probably full of more desperate pervs than simply horny ones.

I like to think of Lit as a site for producing wholesome entertainment steeped in good family values.

I like Lit. Very much. There are wonderful people here. :rose:

I am thinking Friend Finder is a fairly creepy place, what little I saw of it.

I just want my story down. Or they can leave it up and give me credit and link it back to Lit. But Sir Dashing needs his nuts cut off.

I used to be a gold member, until I realized it was a waste of time and money. The men there are looking to get laid and some of the women are too, but I think most of the women are trying to sell nude photos of themselves or are prostitutes or are trying to get people to sign up on porn sites. That was the impression I got when I contacted women.

There are stories, supposedly written by members, but I think you have to be a gold or silver member to access them. I suspect that many of the stories were plagiarized from this site, although I don't know of any. Maybe some of the pervs want to impress those few women there who are actually looking for men to hook up with.

Done and done....

The site changed your link to some nonsense by replacing literotica with adultfriendfinder.

I posted putting quotes around the link and another with spaces just in case.

plus I voted a -1.

I'll admit...I've used AFF before, to some limited success. Honestly most of that place is full of horny men just looking to get laid, lots of porn sites spamming, and a ton of women whom come on for the sole reason to tease and bash men. [oh and tons of couples looking for bi women, as sarah found out]

What the fuck...

This link youmaynotwanttogohere ...

It looks like they may steal the first paragraph and change it slightly to conform to what their website is about and post...???

They used the first paragraph from my latest story...as you see it doesn't make much sense.

Here's another site with stolen stories. The link leads to one of mine they have, but there are other categories listed to the side, and I'm fairly certain all of those stories come from Lit as well. I did not find any kind of *contact* link.

I found another one of mine on an isanadultblog.com blog, but again, I could not find any kind of contact link.

I have googled a lot of my stories on this site. It seems to be relatd somehow to AFF also.

I decided to do a little Googling of my own.

Found two of my stories had been stolen; Bed Of Roses and Birthday Present.

I sent off notes to the website owners. We'll see what happens.

Sometimes though, Google couldn't even find the story on Lit.

And once I opened a page with vomit inducing porn. http://bestsmileys.com/puking/4.gif

If they (the story thieves) are at liberty to change the title and some of the wording in the stories to make it seem original or "not stolen," how are you all able to track them down so expediently? Or are these idiots really that stupid and copy everything verbatim, thinking you'll never go to that site to begin with?

They really are that stupid/unimaginative.

A lot of time, they are stolen verbatim, with title intact. Sometimes, even with author's name intact but no link back to Lit.

Well, I stirred up a hornet's nest now.

They have a section where you can post questions and some of the "regulars" will offer their suggestions.

So I just asked - What do you do when an Adult Friend Finder member has plagiarized your story?

And I gave his name and dates and links back to Lit.

Some of them were supportive, some were amazed that I called a member out by name, some were annoyed, some said to call Customer Service. Basically, they were shocked with my audacity.

Cool.

:D:D:D

"The Audacity Of Hope." :D
