Both stories, "Dad's Deployment" and "Knocking Up Mom", are stolen from an author named "Sam Jason" whose account doesn't exist anymore. That's prpbably the reason why sikerimm31 keeps stealing his stories, next one probably will be "Inseminating Mom" or "Mom's Home Schooling".

I already reported both stories, but just in case decided to open a thread too.

That sucks. Had that happen to me years ago with some of my poems. Not here. Somewhere else.

Yep. Reporting it is the best thing to do, at Lit anyway. The site owners here are good at taking action.

Yep, without much research at all. One can only hope that this isn't just a case of Sam Jason changing account names.

And you know that Laurel and/or Manu offer "little research at all" before they take action?

And you know that Laurel and/or Manu offer "little research at all" before they take action?

You first on showing that they do, since you declared that they do. I haven't seen any evidence that they understand copyright at all, and the "presumption" they let exist years ago that they actively pursued copyright thefts for stories posted here fell through as smoke and mirrors years ago. But you first on backing up your claim.

A look around this site tells me they screen/research very little and Pilot has a point because this site shoots first, then picks up the pieces afterwards and only when they feel like it.

Then most likely it was the original author with a new name. Or the person somehow showed they were posted with permission.

Hi guys! It's me; Sam Jason. My account was stolen and sadly somebody just deleted my works. But I'm lucky, I have another copies on my PC. I will publish them for you. I hope you like it. I love you guys. :)

Why not from the start... hopefully it is the real "Sam Jason" and not a fake one.

Sorry, dunnoname, this all sounds fishy. Where did you get that Sam Jason "quote" from?--and, by the way, Sam Jason's account hasn't been deleted from Literotica. It wasn't fully accepted that sikerimm31 had been judged by the site to have stolen the stories either. If it had, the sikerimm31 account would have been banned--and it wasn't.

This just is all too fishy. Are you perhaps both Sam Jason and sikerimm31 and just trying to drum up readers? Otherwise, why are you, rather than the writers in question (who quite likely is the same person using two account names), pursuing this problematic issue?

It's on top of the edited stories.

And i'm not Sam Jason / sikerimm31, you should probably get out in the real world once in a while without wearing your tinfoil hat. I thought Sam Jason deleted his / her account / stories like so many did before and was simply pissed that someone stole them. If someone steals alwayswantedto stories i'll report them too...

Furthermore i don't think that me creating a thread can "drump up readers", 1) how many users visit the forums? 0,x% or even less? 2) "Story Feedback" is one of the smaller sections, don't you think if drumming up readers was my goal i would have created this thread in say "General Board"?

It's not a party until Pilot questions someone's motives.

I do, of course, wonder about your motives.

The bottom line is that neither one of the accounts has been deleted, so the Web site didn't assess either one as plagiarizing. When it assesses a plagiarizing account, it deletes that account.

I'm an open book. Fire away.

Are you referring to why I provide feedback? Or, rather, why it's so blunt?

Naw, I was referring to your "from left field" personal backbiting of me. ;)

Again, this isn't a case of the Web site assessing plagiarism. If it had been an account would have been closed. They were both open when I checked yesterday. Chances are good that it's the same author moving stories between accounts for some reason.

Why you zipped in to back bite is your issue.

That's easy. I don't like you.

In the past, you have berated and belittled me, publically and in private, on the grounds that you having been here longer than me somehow means you're opinion is more important than mine. You've insisted on being offended by comments that weren't directed at you. You constantly denigrate Literotica, at just about every level, while continuing to take advantage of the benefits it offers. I think you are disingenuous. I also think you're a very unhappy person, and I think you take that out on others unfairly.

Yes, I've occasionally criticized your critiques because they were guidance to write like you rather than in the other writer's voice. Beyond that, the issues you bring up are quite clearly your sadness and anger, not mine. And, case in point, you dropped on top of me to back bite and exhibit personal, irrelevant hate on this thread, not the other way around. Sad for you.

Do, by all means, point to a thread that I've at any time dropped in on top of you from out of the blue to attack you personally.

Before that thread, I have to go back several years because I've avoided you like the plague.

Now I just don't care.

And, for the record, I have never held up my own writing and said "be more like me", or suggested a reader read one of my own stories to do it right. I don't want clones. I give feedback that stresses fundamental storytelling rules as a means of developing skill, and I do it because I wish someone had helped me learn those lessons when I was starting.

I break those rules all the time, but I do it knowing what breaking them does to a story and how to compensate.

I can't remember you criticising one of my critiques, but it's good to know that's how you really feel about them.

Great example. My initial contribution to the thread was to provide a link to a story the OP asked for discussion on. You entered with post #18 attacking male account names who had responded to the thread. I think it's clear who was dragging anger baggage on that thread. As you posted, your issues are an open book.

As a forum regular (and a gay man, if I'm not mistaken), that criricism did not apply to you. See my earlier comment about insisting on being insulted.
