I regret to inform you all that the story posted by Terrabull on 3/8/02, which he called "The Little Pricktease" at http://www.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=40743
is in fact mine.

Terrabull was a member of the Thralldom site, where I posted my story, "The Cocktease," on 2/24. You can find it at
http://www.thralldom.org/siteware/forum.mv?Members'_Kinky_Tales+read+8985442885#1015702443

It's listed in the kinky tales section of the forum.

I wrote that story more than 10 years ago. If there are any doubts, I have a fandom group consisting of 266 members who can vouch for the fact that the story is mine, and that I've sent copies of it to them long before Terrabull posted it here.

He has also been banned from the Thralldom.com site by the listowner on the grounds of plagiarism.

I have sent e-mail to the list owners here requesting that the story be pulled.

Thank you for your time and attention.

I'm sure the slimeball will be dealt with. Laurel does not tolerate thieves. Too bad she can't hang 'em by their balls.

oh what fun

can i still get the popcorn concession at the public hangembytheballs festival. I understand they are holding it early this year.

That's reassuring!

This is actually the second time this happened to me, so you can imagine how very LESS than pleased I was. Back several years ago, before I got involved with the Internet, I was a member of the GEnie computer BBS service. I wrote some erotic stories for a group rather like this one.

When I finally got back online in Dec. 2000, I found some jerk had posted several of my stories under his name. He'd put them everywhere, including a pay site. I wrote the sites asking for their removal. Some complied, some seemed rather reluctant. It was very unpleasant all the way around.

I caution all writers here who post erotica like this that this stuff can happen. I don't think there's much you can do about it either, except pound the thief when you catch him at it.

Thanks for the warning!

i must be really naive. i really have a hard time believing that people can be so despicable, in spite of the evidence all around me.

i can't imagine what kind of thrill someone would get from PRETENDING to be talented.

What's next? Will we see "Terrabull" in magic marker in the corner of the Mona Lisa?

At least his handle provides a little "truth in advertising". Like Terrible, heavy on the BULL.

I need help

I have written the listowners here, but they have not responded to this. I really want that story pulled. It's violating my copyright. I'm a professional, and I'm not putting up with this. How do I contact the listowners?

I want Terranbull banned, and I want my story off this list. Now.

Thank you. I don't want to be a schmuck about this, but if someone had stollen a story of yours that you'd worked weeks on, you'd be pissed off too.

My deepest thanks to the listowner!

I am delighted to say that Laurel pulled the story. I very much appreciate her action on this matter, as well as her professionalism.

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Juliekitty

question

I do not expect an answer but just for the hell of it.

What in the world was the "I am a professional and I'm not putting up with this," supposed to make me feel. I am not a professional, but I don't think I would feel in less angry if somebody stole my work. Did that mean it was worse to steal yours than mine.

Just curious.

I suppose it means she gets her shit published in Penthouse Letters and gets paid for it and you don't. LMFAO...not at you MW but the idea of a professional porno writer.

i see you are back

I see you found your way back 'little stalker person' It might well mean that but you did miss the point. which seems to be the case with most people of your intelligence. You can't think clearly enough to answer the question asked. So you answer the question you can. Please don't stay away so long next time I miss talking to you.

You are such a idiot you make me look good and that takes some doing. Ta Ta little stalker person....

By the way you are a sweetie but I still aint gonna give it to you...

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is straight out theft...

I sypathize with Juliekitty as I have several stories posted here and on other sites, and I would be MAJOR PISSED OFF if it happened to me ---- All of them are the product of MY imagination and MY hard work.

If the person who stole your story/stories is reading this board, I hope his ears burn off....I presume one who goes around stealing other people's work does so because s/he has not got the talent to create their own...

Sorry Mystery Writer, not sure what you're talking about. All I'm saying is you don't typically go get a degree in English literature so you can go on writing "erotic" stories. Sorry for any confusion.

all my fault..

You did nothing and you have a valid point. All the unregistereds look alike and I am having a little round with one of them. Forgive me for going off on you.

No I don't think anyone gets a degree planning to write erotica. Hell I wrote some when I first began writing. I think maybe everyone does. There is a market for it though. Somebody mentioned screen plays for the porn film industry.

People do see this as a ligitiment field of writing. I don't post it any longer though I have a ton of it left on my disk. I would like to say it is due to a high moral stand. Or even because I don't think it is something I am proud of, but that isn't the case. I got bored with it. That probably doesn't speak well for me.

Anyway, I owed you a sincere apology and you have it. You seem as though you would be an asset to this place why not register a name so we know who you are each time you come on board.

Just a thought.

Well thank you for apology MysteryWriter, although I apologize as I'm not one to say much as I'm not a writer of the erotic genre. I just thought I would throw out my 2 cents. Thanks for making me feel welcome.

Glad to have you aboard the board

Nice to have a name to attach to the person who I insulted accidently. I will always be a little humbled by the experience, so for that I thank you. I might even read the postings more than once before I run off half cocked. (On this site the pun was intended)

And might I ask what kind of writing you do. We can always use a writer of anything around here. These days, I post nothing but poorly written mystery and action adventure tales. I am not exactly flooded with readers as compared to when I posted erotica, but then this is an erotica site.

Still I do have readers loyal and true. It goes to prove there is an audience for everyone.

Well children's stories might be hard to find readers for on this site. So, if you would like to share, post a story on any subject. If not, then just hang out and give us your opinions. Yours are as good as anyone else’s.

Again welcome to the madness.

I still don't quite understand what you can gain from plagiarising a story and posting it on literotica. If it's good enough to win an award, it would be recognised fairly easily by those that have read the original, so there's no financial gains to be had. And the only benefits you can get here is the voice that you get, the sharing of your ideas, voting, feedback and the chance of corresponding with like-minded souls - but all that is no good when it's not your story, so plagiarism negates all those benefits.

So what does plagiarism get you round here, anyway?

I haven't experienced anyone copying my stories as yet, but nevertheless, why, goddammit, why?

ah I don't get it eitehr

Well I dont know Max. In my case, I write to pick up women. I swear they said in the movies it would work, but I am still waiting.

My apologies

It was not my intention to make anyone feel bad.

And no, I don't write pornography professionally. I'm a romance writer, and I've had four novellas and an anthology published. I just finished a novel which will be published next year. I realize, of course, that there are many people who do not consider writing romance to be something to be proud of. But I'm proud of it anyway, because I've been working to become published since I was nine, and it was a major accomplishment to succeed.

In any case, I was furious when I posted that, and I did not stop to think how it would sound.

No one wants to be ripped off. When you work for a week or two weeks polishing anything, even porn, it hurts just as much to have it stolen as it does if you're published in some prestigious literary magazine.

for moi?

If your response was for me I didnt feel bad in the least. I was just stating a fact. Anyone, published or not, would feel bad if they got ripped off. I have sure heard others go on about it here before you.

You started writing at nine damn, I couldnt even hold a fork at nine.

LOL!

MW -- I was responding to someone who asked if my comment about being published was intended to make her feel bad. And it wasn't.

About the fork thing -- LOL! Yeah, my first story was "The Mouse That Went to the Moon." I illustrated it and everything. As I recall, he thought the moon was made of green cheese, so he hitched a ride on one of the Apollo missions....

Yes, I'm OLD.

As time went on, I graduated to writing about horses, then finally to men who were HUNG like horses. <snicker>
