Penis.

I couldn't think of another P word for the title. But I found hundreds of poems being posted to 2 porn pay sites. All of the work appears to be stolen from here. But the authors date back to 2001. Some authors appear to be completely inactive so I don't know how best to notify everyone who's work has been ripped off.

Do I just post links to the pages where the work is? Or with a link to the plagiarism with a link to where the work can be found on literotica? Or do I just shake my head and go about my business and pretend that no one cares?

None of the above. You could post a comment where it's been reposted that it might have been stolen (but you wouldn't always be right--I post the same stories under different names on different websites, because Lit. wouldn't register the name I already had elsewhere). Beyond that, there isn't much that anyone can do--other than not post it on the Internet to begin with.

Agreed, because many authors use alts in other venues. I was concerned when I outed a plagiarist of Sir_Nathan's work, because I feared Sir_Nathan might be using an alt, and I checked with Sir_Nathan by PM to make sure.

If reviews are permitted on the other site, and if you're sure that the named author is neither an alt of the copyright holder, nor an assignee or licensee of the copyright, you can lay a blast on the thief, as I did on Amazon.com. Apparently the theft was corrected there, although I'm not certain.

But remember Davy Crockett's motto: "Be sure you're right--then go ahead".
