As you may or may not know (PINKTacoKitty reminded us), October is breast cancer awareness month. Post something here that you think will help raise that awareness or just something cool to show your support.
My home town team, the Buffalo Bills, stage an even in nearby Niagara Falls every year. One of the things they do is to have people donate money to see a concert, hang with some of the Bills and a spot on the Rainbow Bridge to help form a living ribbon. All of the proceeds from the living ribbon will go to the American Cancer Society and the Canadian Cancer Society. Online registration will end at noon on Friday, October 11th, and walk-ups are welcomed.
The Falls are lit up in Pink.
And people form a live pink ribbon on The Rainbow Bridge, one of the bridges that link the US and Canada.
You can see Special Teamer, Garrison Sanborn (#65), Backup QB Tyler Thigpen (#4), Lineman Kraig Urbek (#60). RB Fred Jackson (#22), Safety D'Norris Searcy (#25), TE Scott Chandler (#84) and all their families were there as well.
