Pink Power!

mmmmmm... pink! yum!
Actually, you raise a question I've always wanted to ask:
Even during the 80's Miami Vice craze, guys didn't wear a lot of pink. Guys don't much like the color--it has pretty much been branded a "girly" color, feminine in every way. There was some study done where little boys wouldn't play with a toy tank painted pink, but they would play with a tea set painted black...and little girls wouldn't play with a tea set painted black, but they would play with a toy tank painted pink.

So here's the question:

Given the aversion guys have toward pink...do they like girls in pink? If yes, do you think they they like girls in pink because it's been identified as such a feminine color that a girl in pink = feminine? Or to they like girls in pink because it reminds them of female things like nipples?

I like pink too, SJ. Just not an over-abundance of the stuff. But for ABS, I'd make an exception. Like a pink body suit with pink legwarmers and pink earmuffs to match. :D

Yeah, I think my only pink clothing is the jammies. However...my daughter's wardrobe is 80% pink.

Back in the 80's it was fashionable for guys to wear light pink dress shirts with brown ties and brown slacks. Quiet a few of them in the office I worked in did including myself. In the 90's the fad faded away!

You admit to this? Dude. You're suppose to say, "Me? Slave to fashion? Never!" then burn all the photos and threaten all living witnesses.

Hey like I care! I'm too old to worry about what someone thinks about what I wore back in the 80's. Geezzz! That's 20 years ago. And even though it was pink, we dressed a hell of alot better than some of the kids I see today.

Don't get me started, it's not pretty!
