i am interested in thoughts and experiences regarding genital piercings. I am especially interested in vertical clit hood piercings. Any suggestions?

Go to a professional. I tried having it done at a friend's house, and it got infected. Maybe I shouldn't have asked the monkey's paw to give me a black cock?

Infection rate is very high for Hood piercings.

Get it done at a reputable shop in the city not in the hood.

I have three piercings on my testicals. Hurt like hell but no infections. I used brand new brass nails and a ball-peen hammer to get it done.

My advice is don't go professional. It's embarrassing to show them your private parts. I know because I had a very unpleasant experience in Pittsburgh when I first decided to do this procedure.

Well, I would certainly not try this at home! nor would I go to the hood. I am interested from the sensation aspect after healing. I understand hygiene is critical.

The nail was sanitized and a friend showed me how he had done it. So, though it sound dramatic it was literally over in the blink of an eye.

It was surprising how easily the nail went through. Hardly any blood (I expected like a gallon to come out!).

I did all three self-piercings in less than five minutes. Everyone who has seen those piercings can't believe I did it on my own. Ha! And I only drank one bottle of Michelob Ultra Lite to relax.

Had a clit hood ring put in years ago in Pittsburgh. It was a very professional job. But you want to keep the ring small. My husband kept wanting a bigger and bigger ring. Eventually, it stretched the skin until the ring twisted. That was very painful. After three years, the ring migrated through the skin. There wasn't any blood when it came through but the hood was permanently split in two.
