Thank you for the concise information. Have you ever heard of a cream called Emla Cream that is occassionally placed on the nipples a few hours ahead of time to take away some of the pain?

It was recommended to Me today for this sweet submissive of Mine.

Emla Cream is often used in pediatric units (Especially burns) for (multiple) tries at IV's or blood draws. I have heard that Lidocaine can cause soem swelling in the skin and is not good for any body marking, but then again, it could just be some BS. I'd say try it if you wanna. Get some, try it for plucking those brows and see if you have any awelling on that sensitive body part. If not, go for the nips!

Oh, and it is more like 15 minutes--NOT any hours. Same drug your dentist uses. Different form.

I have been pierced 7 times in all though only have 5 now. Only once did i have any audience and having that definitely validated the experience for me and gave me somebody other than the piercer to exchange ideas and thoughts with. This was a re pierce of a nipple. Nipples do hurt but not for long. I look forward to the pain but dread it too. The pain is an integral part of a pierce, more so a ritual one I would have thought. The update...

I held the small piercing party last weekend...sandwiching it between Friday nights demo at an erotic film festival and Saturday nights play party at the same festival.
