Ok this question if for the ladies out there,or men who know/have a lady that s pierced

I'm thinking of getting my hood pierced... I have read up and on the interenet about it...but I have not found anything frank enough about a girls sex life after she has one..most just say it's good.

Do you have one?
Can you answer my questions?

Did it hurt for real when you got it?
How long did it take before you could have sex again?
Does it enhance your sex life? What ways?
My DH plays alot with my clit....is the piercing going to bother that you think?

Help!?!?! I just need honest to goodness experienes....
or some good website/blog of someone that has one

Well, not being a woman, I can't tell you for sure. From what I've been told, though, it's awesome to the point of possibly having orgasms driving down a bumpy road. Of course, I've never had a partner with a pierced clit hood, so I don't have any firsthand experience. I'd assume the piercing part hurts a hell of a lot, though.

My advice is to find a really good, experienced piercer and ask him/her what you might be able to expect in terms of pain, healing and the effects of this type of piercing.

Ok...let's see...I had my hood pierced for about 3 years. I loved it...most of the time. I really didn't feel a whole lot in my day-to-day life, except when the barbell got twisted. That was very uncomfortable, especially if I was sitting. I would have to go to the bathroom and un-twist it when that happened. I think the amount of stimulation you experience from it depends on each person, and how sensitive their clit is. I think I was supposed to go 6 weeks or so without sex, especially oral sex, due to the risk of infection, until it healed.

Yes, it hurt when I got it...for about 5 seconds, it hurt like hell, but after he was done, it barely hurt at all. The next day I sat on a plane for 3 hours and had no problems. I do recommend loose fitting pants (i.e. NOT jeans), or a skirt or dress for the first few days, but after that it should be fine.

As for sex: It gave me added stimulation during sex, especially if I was on top, but I had to be careful not to apply TOO much pressure. It is metal after all, and too much pressure hurts! The men I was with while I had it thought it was hot, and a couple of them mentioned that they liked it because when they were using their hands on me, or doing oral on me, they knew right were my clit was! No hunting around needed! Stimulating my clit by rubbing the ring would hurt after a while, but if my partner was gentle and careful, it didn't bother me.

I do feel the need to impart a warning, and explain why I don't have my piercing anymore. After about 3 years of having it, and it getting twisted (I had a curved barbell), my piercing fell out. Over the 3 years the hole had gotten stretched out from the twisting, and eventually, it tore through the last bit of skin. I never felt it happen. I went to the bathroom one day and realized it was just gone. To this day I have no idea where my ring ended up, but at least it didn't hurt when it happened! My hood is now bisected, and does not cover my clit at all. It is simply split in two. I'm planning on contacting a local plastic surgeon and seeing what it would take to get it fixed. No having a hood does make a difference during sex. I would like to get the piercing redone, once I get my hood fixed, since it would be much less likely to tear through scar tissue, but I'm not sure I want to take the risk of that happening again! I do miss it though!
