How does one put pictures in a message that they post here at Literotica? Call me dim, I'm sure its a simple procedure, but I haven't figured it out. Seems I only know how to send attachments with messages, and then the reader has to open them. Please educate me.

When you make your post, just click IMG and then put the address of the picture between the tags.

You can only put pics that are already posted on the net as pics in a post. If the pic is on your computer it can only be done as an attachment.

Don't know you very well at all.....but enough to know that compared to you I'd have to take the 'wicked' out of wicked woman. Nice to see you back from your holiday :p

If you preview the image that is supposed to be accompaning the message, You can see it as it would appear in the message correct? Thus far I am only sending little red x'ed boxes with the message. Sigh! please help.

This is what I have been doing up to this point. I go to google, do an image search. Find the image I want. Copy the address.
Write it as prompted. For example:

http://www.island-of-freedom.com/POE.HTM

All I end up with is the problem discribed above.

Some hosts don't allow remote linking or inclusion of files on their servers. It's especially common on free hosts in order to discourage abuse of bandwidth or bandwidth theft.

Write it as prompted. For example:

You're not copying the URL of the IMAGE, you're copying the URL of the page that contains the image.

Right click on the image you want and select Properties to get the URL of the image.

Avoid URLs that are script calls to display an image -- anything with .PHP, .CGI or similar file extensions in thmiddle of the URL -- the IMG tags don't see those as images either.

The image you want is at http://www.island-of-freedom.com/POE.GIF
