Okay, this is a thread to share pictures you've taken and things you find interesting. There will be challenges that we can all take part in, or you can go off on your own and photograph anything you want.

One thing that is NOT ALLOWED is any bullshit about "I'm not good at taking pictures" or "I don't have a good camera"--It's not about the equipment, it's about the photographer.

What do you see and how do you see it.

Professional camera, camera phone, or cave drawing whatever you can do--DO IT!

That is a great one! There's something very cool about the bird watching you watch the game, or the juxtaposition of nature and a stadium. I don't know, but I like it a lot.

When the last time you saw a walking stick? Not the greatest photo I have taken, but you don't see many of these insects.

I think that color is very slimming, I love walking sticks and flowers are a clever way of showing a living thing.

I'm happy people are contributing.

I also forgot to mention that cheating is highly encouraged here. Photoshop, color correction, lighting, camera filters, smoke and mirrors anything you want to use. Just show us the world as you see it or wish it to be.

Going for a hike and feeling conflicted--the nature lover in me feels calm and serene, the horror movie lover in me wonders what lurks beneath that water!

I love so many of these—the seahorse, the deer...I especially love those. And the beautiful landscapes. I don’t want to quote them bc I’ll take up too much space, but I really love them.
