Pictures From Around The World

This one amazes me as well - just unexpected... Players in a football game in Germany, unwilling to compete after Tuesday's attack. The EUFA ordered the game to be played, so for most of the game the players defiantly played spiritlessly and uncompetitively.

I don't have a link to the picture, but I think it was in the Thank You thread that Tiggs posted. I saw a picture of 200,000 people at Brandenburg gate in Berlin and heard on TV that they all sang God Bless America together. Their comment was "we are all New Yorkers." *sniff*

I know I've posted this before on other threads, but the Berliners
are generally very pro-American. At least the ones I've met. Older people will grab you to talk about the Berlin Air Lift. They get tears in their eyes and thank you as an American, even though you had nothing to do with it yourself.

Berlin is a wonderful city, and they have shown again that it is full of wonderful people, too.

if i am not mistaken, there were people from over 60 countries who worked in different offices in the WTC towers.

the whole world has a reason to fear terrorists.
the towers may be gone now, but world wide....a list of
possible targets for these fanatics would boggle the mind.
eiffel tower, big ben, canary wharf, kremlin, cn tower, dams etc.
