Hi -
I want to paste a .jpg right into my post - so that the pic shows up. Not an index (I think, though not really sure what an index might be, now that I think about it) or a link, I want the pic in full and beauteous technicolor displayed for all to see.
How I do dat?
I clicked on pretty much all I could click on in the ribbon above the text entry window. Found some pretty cool shit, but not what I wanted... When I preview, I don't see my pic in the post!
Thanks!

Do you mean like this?

When you reply (and I am guessing when you create a post) - there is a box - this box allows you to Select the Font and the color

If you look at the options, there is also one that will allow you to "Insert Image" - and it is on the second row of things you can do to customize your message - you will have to add the URL for the image in order for it to appear

I am guessing - purely a guess that you can use a picture hosting site for your own pictures & then use that URL to get the correct pic. I am willing to lay a bet that if you go the AmPic section & look for someone who posts their own pictures inside the text box of the thread that you can ask them for suggestions on where to host pics that can be posted on Lit

You can find the answer in this post, which is from the "FAQ's - Read Before Posting Help Questions" sticky at the top of this forum.

@MyPinkBox - super helpful - thanks so much!!!

@ShyGuy68 - yep - read that post and still didn't know what I was doing. Thanks so much for making me say that "out loud"... Think I got it now though, thanks.
