How do I post pictures inside a thread posting?

First, they have to already have been posted on the internet.
Then, you can use the imaging button to place the link of the pic in the post. There should some more info. around here in you do a search.

They don't have to be on the web...if they're on your computer just attach the file...when you're posting your reply look at the bottom where it says 'attach file' and browse through your computer until you find the pic you want to insert. It will show as a link instead of a pic on the thread but people can click on it to see the pic. Valid file extensions: gif jpg png txt zip bmp jpeg qcp and it must be less that 400x600

Did you take the url of the web site page or the actual pic? usually you have to click on the pic then right click if I remember to get a box with the properties of the pic and copy the url.

It's not your technique...I tried it and get the link too. Sometimes you can't post from certain sites like geocities...maybe you can't post from the site you're using...try another pic.

That URL dosn't work, because it's not an IMAGE -- it's a script that displays an image.

The IMG tags only work with URLs that end in .JPG, .GIF, .BMP, and a few other image format identifiers. Images that are password protected, hotlink protected, or stored on slow sites will show up as a red X because the BB software can't display them.
