Pics of where you live

Since I got my camera out of the closet, so should you. :D

This is Oz in winter/spring and about 20 mins from where I live. No snow. I doubt the temp even dipped below 18 degrees celcius.

Must be rough living in Paradise! ;)

Here's a couple from Idaho. Mountains and prairies, a great combination!

I've already posted loads of pictures of where I live, currently in the Visual Artists Corner (at the top of the home page of the AH), specifically in the Post your photographs here thread, (page 6, posts 137 and 139; page 7, post 162, 166, 168, 173, 174) as well as my own Matriarch's Gallery.

I can see no point in duplicating, and the system won't let me post the same picture twice, unless I rename it, resize it etc....and on a Sunday afternoon, I just can't be bothered. If you really want to see, then maybe a short excursion into the threads might be in order.

Great pictures everyone, lovely places.

This isn't where we currently live but it is where I was born, where our cabin is located and where much of our extended family lives.

I think I recognize that lake. ;) It's the same as this one (just from the other side) - it's said we have sunsets second only to Hawaii:

Walking distance from the house:

We're closer than we know.

This is at a park about 15 minutes walking distance from my house...these guys are so friendly... :cathappy:

You guys live in some really lovely places. I know my home looks boring to me, and yours looks exotic, so I guess others may feel that way too.

Those mountains, and I can't believe that is a lake.

This is a view from the top of the Pentland Hills, about 1 1/2 hours walk up the road. The view is South-East, towards Flotterstone and the Moorfoot Hills beyond.

Can I come live with you?

i wish there were mountains where i lived. there is a region about two hours from here that is referred to as "markian switzerland", but actually it's not even mountains, but valleys. and the valleys aren't all that deep either.

McK?
Yes.

I just realised the pic is a wee bit fuzzy. I took it around about 8.00am, so I was still half asleep.
Yep! We left at 6.30am for an early morning walk.
I'll see if I have any others.
