How do you put pics or images directly into a post or signature, rather than having to insert an attachment and click on the link in the post to view it?

The attachment function is purposely set to show a link instead of the image bcause the attachment database here at Lit got so big having them display automatically was slowing down the whole site.

To show an image in your post, use the IMG tags, which require an image URL that is available on the Web all the time. Attachment URLs wil NOT work with the vB IMG tags.

To show an image in your signature, use the HTML "IMG SRC=" syntax. Attachment URLs CAN be used in the HTML syntax.
