LOL, thanks...long way to go (and a new camera wouldn't go astray :D ) before I get close to happy with my efforts.

WOW! very well done....

lighting, focus, framing, a sense of action - everything very well done.

Thanks..everyone thinks she must be such a big cat from this pic and yet she is just a small, fluffy thing similar to a stuffed toy in softness, until if you are another animal and you cross her, and then she turns into supermonster until she has reclaimed her dominant position in the house no matter how long it takes to drive the point home!!

damn pussies...

I live with two of them and spent time last night trimming the claws on their front paws

I'll be ok in a day or two....

You are patient....ours just sharpen theirs continually to make sure they are ever sharp and ready. The model actually left one sticking out of another cat's face awhile ago....I thought it was just the old claw casing but it was the claw itself stuck in there and took a bit of getting out. She made her point!!

Amazing Catalina. I particularly like the horse, I had one who looked a lot like that growing up. I've got a soft spot for that colour.

Most of the Oz ones are pre-digital days......hmmm, and some could do with re-scanning now I have a better scanner.

Thanks wynnie...are you into any particular subject, or like me, what fits the mood or opportunity at the time?

Has anyone been out snapping away of late? I haven't been doing as much the last few weeks, but I did some today for therapeutic purposes, and there have been the odd one here and there.

LOL, thanks they are gorgeous, and Marcella (Calico cat) thinks she is the very bestest most perfect kitty in the world and makes sure we all know our place!! Those pics of her highness and the buddha/roses ones, and the pink rose were the new camera, the others were the G6. I spent the past couple of weeks frustrated as I have not had time to experiment with the new camera beyond a quick shot here and there and as my sister's birthday is coming up, I decided to do a special shot of the little ornamental piano she gave me last time I was home, combined with some flowers and turn it into a 3D birthday card. Hmmm, well everytime I whipped the camera out and began to set up the shoot, along came a storm and the rest of the day grey and rainy so I couldn't use the sunlight through the window as I wanted. In the end I settled for taking them anyway and was blessed with some special moments of sun breaking through the stormclouds, and also just the beauty of the storm light. Here are some of what I got.
