Thanks Sometimes I'm surprised at the shots I get myself, because I honestly don't put much thought into the pics most of the time. But I love the London pics myself as well

I forgot to turn off my camera, and I looked down and saw this picture through the view finder. It looked cool so I took the picture.

I think it's a cool shot. Sometimes things which would seem unlikely to make a good subject just jump out at you.

LOL, the same day you posted these, we had just had a huge deluge of rain and I thought about getting the cameras out and didn't. Don't think my energy levels are back yet as it was too good to miss but I just couldn't muster enough motivation to move, so I watched it instead. Great shots you got.

it was just amazing Cat. The sea looked like it was on fire.

everything seems magnified here somehow...I think the light is pretty awsome.
I took some others on a really horrible day and it came out like a blabk and white photo....all hues of grey and black. A bit boring but I like the mood.

Yep, our Aussie light seems to be very bright..painfully so for some not used to it...F had problems on his first visit and had to wear sunnies most of the time. I always notice the difference when I travel back home and then back to Europe. I think pics when the sun is not around are great. Some have the idea that photos must always be in sunny weather to be interesting, but sometimes you can create much more mood in overcast and/or dark conditions. The play of light can be awesome.
