Photographer's Assistant

an "ugly duckling" type tale.

for months she has done everything as the photographer does fashion shots. She wears her hair pinned up out of the way, no makeup that might smear, loose fitting clothing that allows her easy movement.

then one fateful morning the first model is late. He looks at her and says, "you're just the right height..."

of course, she doesn't bother going to a dressing room to change...

maybe we fast forward to her being a star & leaving him in the dust?
or maybe the model arrives. late?
or maybe the makeup girl is jealous?

the assistant is a very quiet, shy, and submissive girl - all the arrogant, bitchy, demanding models are always stepping on her, abusing her, but she willingly submits, blaming herself whenever there is a fuck-up on the set. Then one day, pressed to the wire, the model doesn't show and the photographer demands she does the bikini shoot. She reluctantly accepts and wow, the photographer nearly drops his camera when he first sees her and finds, after a couple of minutes that she is a natural in front of the camera. Just then the model shows up and also sees how perfect the assistant is - and becomes quite threatened. She explodes at the photographer and at the girl, getting in her face, abusing her. The assistant refuses to take off the bikini and give it to the model, and a cat-fight ensues. the bikini ends up in shreds, as does the models clothes - all the while the photographer is snapping shots.

The model grabs an overcoat and storms out. The poor assistant, naked, shaken lays there panting, wondering what has just happened. The photographer makes his move...
