My theory on the popcorn is that nowadays nearly all popcorn is defective in some way. I make popcorn in an air popper and I get lots of annoying unpopped kernels too. Maybe it isn't "nowadays"; maybe popcorn was always like this? I don't know.
Edit: I think shaking the bag is a good idea.

Yeah, my microwave is actually second hand. I lived without one for a really long time and I'm lucky to even have this one. I suppose I really shouldn't be complaining about the unpopped kernels. I should just be grateful I don't have to resort to Jiffypop anymore.

don't know if the pet peeves theme is dead yet or not but here are some of mine in no particular order of importance (relevant to lit of course):
1. The same generic complimentary posts from the same group of ten or fifteen male lit members on every single woman's picture thread. Or more specifically how in every woman's thread, someone always says "it's not just your looks but your wit that makes you sexy" or something to that extent. I'm not necessarily saying it's all a bunch of lies, but after awhile it begins to feel pretty contrived.
2. Any woman who starts a picture thread will be told she's sexy. Again, not saying that any woman called sexy on lit isn't, but literally no matter your age, race, size, bust, orientation, or fetish: if you are a woman, you will be called sexy by the males of lit. No matter what. I hope I'm not the only one who sees a disconnect there between what happens on lit and what happens in the real world. Men are never so forgiving.
3. Women who post on lit but are prudish. A lot of guys get called selfish on lit for taking the women posters for granted, as if they are somehow their property, and I think a lot of them get accused because they ARE like that. However, I think a lot of women can be really unrealistic when posting here. This is a message board based off an erotic website, so of course you have to expect a vast majority of the members will be seeking erotic material. Of course, I expect nothing of women who post nude/clothed pictures of themselves on this board, because above all it's their choice to post. But it's really very frustrating when women act surprised or appalled that they get reply's and PM's of a sexual nature. THIS IS A SEXUAL WEBSITE. Don't post if you can't handle that not every inquiry is going to be sophistcated, and well crafted. The internet is not infamous for sophistication or well crafted writing. The reason so many male lit members feel the need to craft overly cutesy, non offensive replies is because you make them feel overly cautious about saying they like the way your breasts look. Be realistic about what this forum is and who its members are.
4. Male members who pretend they agree with the prudish women posters. They don't actually think the way the prudish women do, not at all! They're just trying to play the role of matured male lit member so that the prudish woman will make them her lapdogs, to the hopes that maybe over time she'll become a kinkier poster/chat buddy. I refuse to believe the women on this board don't recognize this as well. Because no matter what we claim, we are on this board because we are horny and seeking open-minded women.
Phew, that's all I got so far. I'll probably get some heat from some people, but it's just how I see things.

They go by the theory that if you walk up to 100 women and say let's fuck. One might.
