Perverts of the British Commonwealth

That's what I'm dreading in an hours time, when they change the dressings...

OUCH!!

Lol that is actually making my nose hurt.
Reminds me of breaking my nose and the nurse saying she will slowly remove the packing on 3.
She counted 1 and yanked it out. Eyes watered like mad.

In the Czech Hospital, they pulled it back slowly squeezing a liquid over the wound which seemed to help considerably.

I now sense why cyclists shave their legs..

It isnt for aerodynamic-ness but if you do have a fall, no hairs to stick to dressings!!

not quite Earnie Wise ....not quite;)

And the infection is on the mend it seems, hardly any puss today.

But did take 2.5 hours before having my dressing changed though, compared to 45-50 minutes on Wednesday for an initial assessment, X-ray and then a proper clean up etc.

Come on /NHS why is it that long?

That's good news indeed. Do you feel better?

Never really felt ill...

But I'll be glad when the dressings are removed and I can return to normality...

But my shoulder is now playing up!!

Glad to hear the things aren't as bad as it first sounded boots.

Morning, and Many thanks. :)

Antibiotics are wonderful things, but their days are limited it seems...

Morning pal.

Yes antibiotics are amazing but like you say we are running out of time with them.
Hopefully start trek medicine isn't too far away.;)

Believe it or not, The Georgians (and thus the Russians?) are leading the way here using viruses that attack bacteria called Bacteriophages...

I am a naturally early riser!

And a tender shoulder and a large calf make sleeping difficult, uncomfortable.

How's you gorgeous?

not to bad thank you, i have got the next two days off which will be nice. I will pop out to the tip later to take my recycling
