My 500th story posted yesterday, 501 and 502 posted today. I'm trying the keep my number of stories consistent with the Boston Red Sox outfielder, Manny Ramirez's homeruns.

I just thought I'd mention it.

Hooray for me.

Well, I can't hang around here all day. I have 500 more stories still to write.

As far as a link to my stuff, I'm fairly computer illiterate. I only know how to do e-mail, Word, and accounting packages, and I'm happy with that.

I'm in awe of you guys with all the links, movies, photos, et al.

Besides, I'm just here to improve my writing. The only contest I hope to win is Survivor, just for the name recognition.

I'm having the time of my life writing stories. That's what is all about for me.

I can't believe that I've written well over 1,000,000 words.

I'm the first to admit that I'm a below average writer at best. My grammer sucks, I can't spell for shit, and I'd rather eat shit than edit my work. Still, writing is a lifelong apprenticeship and if I live to be 80, I'll be an average writer.

To be honest with you, I've never written as much in my life. I spent my days reading. When I'm reading, I can't write.

I returned to college when I was 44 and earned my second bachelors degree, but in English this time. My friends thought me crazy for not getting a master's degree in business, but I wanted to write. Only, I read so much in school, I didn't have time to write.

Now, that's it's over, I'm writing and I can't turn it off. I keep waiting for it to dry up, but it just continues. Sometimes, I can't type fast enough.

I think I must have been struck by lightning while I was sleeping or something (lol).

No tricks, just positive energy. This is so much better when we all get along. It makes me feel like singing (sniff).

I'm hoping that if I write 9,500 more stories, Oprah will have me on her show.

Then again I may have a better chance of being struck by lightning.
