You can, there are size limits and for me it works better to use an image hosting site, but I prefer to take any pic exchange to another platform like kik or whereby

You can't upload an image into a private message, hopefully preventing the sending of unsolicited dick pics. You can only insert an image linked to an external hosting site. Hopefully that extra effort encourages people think twice before sending them.
