permission for use of photos

I am having touble getting the 4th installment of my illustrated series "Between Friends" posted. I am told I need the permission of those in the photos. I do have their permission. Now what?

For photos that are not news pictures, you need a release. A release has specific wording to protect the publishing company from law suits. I fancy myself being a photographer, but I never take posed pictures. I have posted pictures of women flasking their breasts, but they were taken in a public place, and few were posed. Posing in my case was women who stopped just flashing and waited for me an many others to snap a pic.

Verbal contracts are legally binding (if you can prove them long after the fact--not always easy.) I'd strongly suggest written permission. You can buy model release forms at almost any camera store for pocket change. Alternately, you can download model releases from many sources on the Net.

Get the release signned, dated, and witnessed, and you should have no problems.
