I recently heard from a man that a woman's cramps when getting her period is like taking a shit. I think I am at odds with that sentiment. You?

For some women it's more analogous to being kicked in the nuts, for days on end.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

hmmm, i know a woman who said that her cramps felt like her womb was about to tumble out at any moment.

Well, I have been blessed in a way. I rarely ever get cramps. I remember this woman I once worked with suffered every month. To show campassion I said one day, as she was doubled over onto her desk..."I remember when I was 14 and I had cramps...they were so so bad all I could was lay on the couch for like 30 minutes. It was painful from what I can recall."

She then looked at me with near hatred in her eyes and said, "You're trying to tell me that you can sympathize with me, and all you can pull up is something that happened more than 25 years ago?"

After that I just kept quiet every four weeks and said nothing.

LOL, that poor guy. I can't imagine being in that much pain every time he has to shit! :D But then, I had endometriosis. Things aren't so bad since I got that under control. Two laparoscopies and birth control pills later, I'm good. Maybe that's what he needs.

I ahve no endometriosis or any such thing, but I usually get cramps so bad they make me throw up.
I really can;t decide which are worse: the continuous rolling cramps that just keep aching or the sharp stabbing ones that feel like someone is twisting a knife in your womb.

Also - am I the only one who doesn't get *just* stomach cramps? Cos my legs, back and cunt all ache like fuck too usually.

God, any man who said that to me would probably suffer an immediate and painful castration.

Wtf? How would he know?

I wish there was some way he could be shown how it is. *she says with a dangerous gleam in her eye*

LOLOLOLOL

Working in the field I do, I get to deal with this on occasion.

I have seen women who have absolutely no cramps or bloating. Hell they exhibit no signs of what they are going through. Then I see the other end of the spectrum, those who need pain medications to combat what they are going through. (Hell I know of one young lady who needs quite the coctail to combat her pain.)

Wouldn't that just make a terrific AH Fantasies story? I know just the fellas, too.

Many men fantasize about having a pussy for just one day. For some men I know just the day I'd pick.

No cramps myself, just backaches, but I'd never belittle someone's else's pain.

Well, before I learned there are certain foods I was intolerant of (not allergic), I would often get severe stomach cramps when dropping a deuce. This would probably happen once a week, sometimes more sometimes less. I'm assuming this is the same sort of feeling.

On a period theme, but not cramps, does anyone else here use a Mooncup ? Or has heard of them? I am completely converted now - would never ever ever ever go back to towels or tampons.

ps- V. useful for pagan women who like to use blood in their spells.

As someone with IBS, I can assure you that they're nothing alike.

Think of someone taking your cock and twisting with both hands going the opposite directions, as hard as they possibly can.

It's kinda like that. (Sorry for that image  )

That's actually quite a good description.
