Perdita - wierd coincidence or scary powers?

I realize this is going to sound wierd, but...

My PC is in my office, so when I want to surf the net from my couch, I use an older and more finicky laptop, which is prone to crashing at random moments. Its favorite time to crash is when I'm in the Author's Hangout on Lit, BUT ONLY when I'm reading a Perdita post or thread.

It's happened so often that way, that when I get the "This program has performed an illegal operation and will shut down" pop-up, I check to see if a Perdita posting is on the screen, and sure enough, there you always are!

So, what are these strange superpowers you possess?

I get a similar anomally, seriously, I do!

I don't know why or what causes it, but everytime I open up a thread that Perdita has posted in the screen hangs, for sometimes up to thirty seconds. It's weird, and it only happens in threads in which Perdita has posted. I thought it was only me.

What I'd love to hear is that everytime a bloke goes to a post of mine he gets instantly erect.
