In the old days of AOL, it was a way to indicate a location via Zip code (U.S. Postal Codes).

The author HP Lovecraft is very significant to my childhood so I took the name in homage. I added the number because if I left it at just Lovecraft anyone googling my stories would never find them beneath all of the original HPL's work. That and any of his fans might get more than they bargained for clicking on my stories.
