For awhile, there were a lot of these black and white bumper stickers that read "Mean People Suck"

Once I saw one with the black and white reversed that read "Nice People Swallow"

Wish I could find one of those!

Amen. A perfunctory or uninvolved suck is just appalling. One hardly wants to discourage the impulse, but one finds oneself wishing it would just stop. I got it from drunken partners a couple of times, and distracted them by reversing everything and eating them instead.

Leave 'em happy is still a very good rule. When they felt more like themselves, they improved dramatically.
