Pentagon: America “Safer” With Openly Gay Troops…

Do gays possess some kind of special fighting power we haven’t been told about?

Via Washington Times:

The Pentagon on Tuesday toasted gays in the military, with a top adviser to President Obama declaring the country is “safer” now that homosexuals may serve openly.

“Because we repealed ‘don’t ask, don’t tell,’ our military … is stronger and our country is safer, more equal and more just,” said Valerie Jarrett, the keynote speaker at the Pentagon’s gay pride celebration.

It was the Defense Department second annual gay pride gathering since September 2011, when Mr. Obama signed the repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell,” a ban on gays serving openly in the military implemented during the Clinton administration. [...]

Wednesday’s speakers were assembled by a new group, DOD Pride, and featured three senior officials, topped by Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel.

Meanwhile, the number of military personnel is being downsized by 14%.

First to go will be the homophobes.

They said they would not promote homosexuality or have representatives officially go to gay parades or festivals, like the British military had been doing. Yet another lie. Here they are legitimizing gay sex instead of being neutral and not having an opinion on sex.

It was heartbreaking yesterday to see this pretty coed age girl at the restaurant with a butchie that looked like a boy. I could see if a fem prefered other fems, at least I could understand that. Why on earth, if you want something that looks like a dude would you not just go for the real thing? Fear of cock?

According to City Insider, the recruiters include gay soldiers who have volunteered to answer questions about life in the military after Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.

One such recruiter, Mario Garcia says:

“I want people to see that you can be out and you can be a member of the gay community in the military today.”

Capt. Shannon Terry, public affairs officer for the California National Guard, told the San Francisco Chronicle:

“At the end of the day, we’re a community-based organization, too. So we need to look like our community.”

Organizers are anticipating up to one million participants this year.
