Hey All,

I am posting this here purely because I know that the people of the Playground are far more receptive to new-ish people and are much kinder and forgiving of what may be deemed as naivety elsewhere. So thank you in advance for any help you may be able to offer :)

My current lover has been having some issues with his penis. He is circumsized, and often after long period of us making love, he is red and sore around the base of the head of his penis. This started to happen around 6 months ago, and has lingered as an ongoing problem. The skin there has become slightly discoloured ( lighter than the rest of his skin - somewhat like the skin is wearing ) and can also be sore to touch. This has not affected his performance, nor his ability to get or maintain an erection, though he admits that sometimes afterward his penis hurts in that area. It is as though it is a friction issue - but I am always well well lubricated and we have even added KY to see i this helps.

He has been tested to STD's and they have come back negative, so it is not related to that.

Has anyone come across this before? We are both concerned that he is becoming more and more desensitised. Is there some way we can rejuvenate that area?

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. I want to go back to him this week with a nice plan for how we can work together and heal this area so he is able to enjoy our love making to its fullest.

Hello and welcome. :rose:

My rule: if something hurts that shouldn't hurt - in this case, your lover's penis after sex when in the past presumably it never did - head down to the doctor. It can be a million and one things.

(also, you may also want to browse the How-To and the Blank Manual for more information. There may be something related.

Good luck :)

Ok my advice after working in a hospital for 11 years. Seek medical help. If it is this much of a concern to post on a site like this, then get to a MD, preferably a urologist or dermatologist. If you cannot seek medical attention for insurance reasons, then go to a site like WebMD and post your question.

That is my $.02 opnion.
