Now I have your attention, yes there is a penis museum, "The Icelandic Phallological Museum" in Reykjavík, Iceland. https://www.phallus.is/. It was started in 1974 by Sigurður Hjartarson.

There is also a Pencil Museum, "The Derwent Pencil Museum" in Keswick, Cumbria UK. https://www.derwentart.com/en-gb/c/about/company/derwent-pencil-museum.

Do you get the link? "Lead in your pencil", not sure if that is just a UK expression.

Do you have an interesting/lesser known/ weird museum to share. Post details, location, a link to their web site, and why you recommend it.

I've read about the penis museum (and the whales' cocks are frankly terrifying) and have been to the Derwent pencil museum.

My favourite small museums are the Keswick town museum (has a several-hundred year old cat in a trunk and Skiddaw Slate xylophone among others) and the Midland Air Museum near Coventry which is kind of ramshackle compared to Duxford or Cosford etc but jammed full of fascinating aviation history and a great outdoor display of planes.

Thanks for the recommendation, been to the other air museums and love aircraft, I will give it a go.

Funny what you find when you start looking.
To add balance to this thread there is apparently a Vagina Museum in London, I have not visited but here is the link https://www.vaginamuseum.co.uk/.
I quote

"The Vagina Museum was founded with the intention of busting the stigma of the gynaecological anatomy and be part of a societal shift from bodily shame to celebration."

However it looks like it is under threat and may close, so I guess if you don't use it, lose it.
