Hi I posted my story 48 hours ago but have heard nothing. It’s not moved so I don’t think it’s been rejected. Is this likely just because of the holidays? I’m thinking that’s probably it. Still newish here but excited to share the start of my first series.

I had an edit ( two sentences ) that took almost two weeks to be published. Be patient.

New writers can expect to wait up to a week, while for regular posters it's 1 - 3 days. And yes, posting times fluctuate, depending on the time of the year. It's not time to panic just yet.

Ok. I posted mine almost two weeks ago and I’ve been here for 5 years with almost 60 stories. Holidays, Laurel is busy. Just relax.

My last story was submitted on the 11th of December and posted on the 27th. Don't sweat it. It's just the holidays.

I nearly always get posted in two days. The last one took three. Probably the holidays. I understand that those who don't submit much go quite a bit longer than two days for the story to post.
