Vice President Mike Pence tried to kiss his wife, Karen Pence, in the minutes after Donald Trump won the presidential election in November 2016, but she reportedly turned away from him and said: "You got what you wanted, Mike. Now leave me alone."

Apparently, Mrs. Pence didn't even acknowledge the con artist after Russia helped him win the election. According to a former campaign aide in the article written by Michael Lewis, the author of "Moneyball" and "The Big Short," she finds the con artist "reprehensible", and was "disgusted" after an "Access Hollywood" video surfaced in which Trump brags about groping women without their consent.

In his new book, Lewis outlines how the con artist, upon hearing the vote rigging in Pennsylvania went as planned, sat there, staring at the tv, not saying a word or showing any emotion.

Trump "just stared at the TV without saying anything, like a man with a pair of twos whose bluff has been called."

The con artist also, apparently, didn't want a transition team because he didn't want to a pay for it. He could handle it all himself. Chris Christie informed him it was a legal requirement to have a plan. The con artist whined and groaned and stomped his feet, but he agreed, grudgingly, that Christie should go ahead and raise a separate fund to pay for his transition team. “But not too much!” he said..

However, when the con artist found out Christie and the white supremacist Bannon had raised money, several million dollars, to pay people on it, Trump called Christie and Steve Bannon, his campaign chief, to the Dark Tower.

Bannon stepped off the elevator to find Christie seated on a sofa, being hollered at. Trump was apoplectic, yelling: You’re stealing my money! You’re stealing my fucking money! What the fuck is this?

Seeing Bannon, Trump turned on him and screamed: Why are you letting him steal my fucking money?

According to the story, the con artist considered campaign money his own money.

The money that people donated to his campaign Trump considered, effectively, his own. He thought the planning and forethought pointless. At one point he turned to Christie and said: “Chris, you and I are so smart that we can leave the victory party two hours early and do the transition ourselves.”
