I don’t have any proof of this, but I suspect Hamas was prodded into attacking Israel on October 7th both to divert world attention from Russia’s failures in Ukraine and to create a wedge issue by stoking antisemitism on the left.

Which doesn't prove they're wrong. Russia is certainly guilty of significant interference in U.S. domestic affairs. And it's pretty evident that you help them in this.

Someone higher up than Hamas “green-lighted” / "prompted" the 10/7 operation at that specific moment in time, imho.

And no one benefited more than Russia.

And Russia just so happens to support / have a cozy relationship with Hamas AND Iran.
