Is the US a pawn in a grander sheme than we can imagine.
The recent terrorist actions have left the US no choice but to respond in the only way we can, militarily.
Have we painted ourselves into a corner?
As we have been the puppetmasters over the last 50 odd years or so, are we now the marionettes in a bigger production?
As in Armageddon?
If this is indeed armageddon how can we avert it or can we?
Suppose an Angel (bear with me atheists) appeared to George Bush and said that we could avoid Armageddon if we just stood down and did not respond. (This is not possible by any stretch of tyhe imagination) Would he?
No. We can't, so we are inexorably drawn into a conflict that may spell our own doom(if the prophesy is correct).
Talk about a rock and a hard place...
