does anyone have any idea if animal paw print tattoos have a significant meaning? like Queen of Spades or prison tear drops, just curious, my kids friends have them and I don't want to ask the question I don't know the answer to.

I don't know the real answer, but one of my daughter's friends got one to "commemorate" her dog who was as old as dirt. Other girls thought it was "so adorable", but thankfully it didn't become a trend in her circle of friends.

The tear drop onne I've heard different variations on. One is that that person witnessed someone dying.

The dog paw tattoo is on their lower back right above the waste line, when you're doing it doggystyle that's where the "dogs paw" goes.

Just A FYI that came Girls talking why they got Dog paws tattoos and where! The dog paw is a symbol they are down for doggy style and usually is on the wrist etc and other obvious spots but can be found as mentioned above. I am so glad the girls I helped raise are grown.

I was looking for something else and came across this thread. It may be a generational thing, as the meaning may have morphed over the years. ron is correct where I now understand it either has meaning in respect to your favourite pet passing away, or you are into doggy.


However, way back, one either side lower back or two close together on her mons, no question, marissa and V_T are correct.
